Do you do rush seats?
Yes. We twist and weave rush seats by hand, the old way, warm and honest seating for country and antique chairs.
Can you match the original seat?
Yes. We match the material and pattern to how the chair was made, so the new seat reads as one with the chair.
My chair has a sagging seat, can you help?
Usually, yes. We strip and reweave a broken or sagging seat so a good chair is used again. Show us the chair and we will advise.
What does reseating cost?
It depends on the seat, the material and the work involved. Once we have seen the chair we will give you a clear price.
Do you re-cane chairs?
Yes. We weave cane seats by hand through the holes in the frame, in the traditional pattern, matched to the chair. Bring the chair in and we will advise and prepare a quote.
Do you work for dealers and restorers?
Yes. We reseat for dealers, restorers and the trade, and advise on the right seating for the chair.
